Horst Schirmeier 5a5a99145c bochs: fix ac++-caused preprocessor namespace clash
When building with an experiment activated, the generated
instantiate-<experimentname>.ah gets included in each and every FAIL*
translation unit including Bochs's ones. In the case of the
generic-experiment (and probably many others), this indirectly included
Google protobuf headers, which failed to compile for Bochs's gui/wx.cc and
gui/x.cc: The included X headers pollute the preprocessor namespace by
an internal protobuf "Status" class.

Horst SchirmeierandHorst Schirmeier dad8a54e09 cmake: disable -Wunused-local-typedefs for gcc 4.8+
-Wunused-local-typedefs is included in -Wall since GCC 4.8, and generates a
flood of "typedef '...' locally defined but not used" warnings in
ac++-1.2-generated code.

Horst SchirmeierandHorst Schirmeier 9113d7c2fa cmake: find libiberty headers via cmake module
The libiberty headers moved from /usr/include (and a part of binutils-dev)
to /usr/include/libiberty (libiberty-dev) between Ubuntu 13.10 and 14.04,
which made a proper cmake search module necessary. Searching still
continues working well on Debian 7.

The dependency on fail-comm exists not only at compile time (the
latter is due to protobuf header generation).

Horst SchirmeierandHorst Schirmeier 813414984c util: boost::thread 1.53 depends on boost::system
Unfortunately this implicit dependency is currently not resolved anywhere
else (e.g., FindBoost.cmake), although the 'net heavily discusses this
issue.

Horst SchirmeierandHorst Schirmeier 122eb8c9dc use uint32 for addresses in protobuf msgs
This prevents integer overflows when using addresses > 2GiB, which are
common for x86 operating systems with paging (Linux, Fiasco.OC) or
some test cases on the PandaBoard.

Note that this results in slightly different result table definitions
when automatically translating an experiment's protobuf message in the
DatabaseCampaign.

This change affects all existing protobuf messages to prevent
copy/paste propagation of this issue.

Horst Schirmeier 9cd40842d2 introduce convert-trace tool
The input (taken on stdin) is a gem5.opt --debug-flags=MemoryAccess
trace (--format gem5), or a dump-trace output (--format dump) for easy
trace synthesis (for testing purposes).

gem5 format: Currently imports physical, not virtual memory addresses.
dump format: Currently ignores extended trace information.
